I did a dog grooming course through PennFoster. It is all book work but you obtain all the necessary knowledge to run and own a business. You also learn how to properly groom dogs. After that I got a job as a bather and part time groomer to gain experience. I asked my boss to critique me so I can get better. I now own my own dog grooming shop and have the past 2 and a half years. I am an 18 year old college student. If I can do t so can you.

either or would work. it depends on how much money you want to spend. The course I did was $300 at the time. and starting is easy. Just put up posters and make sure you tell people. If you see someone with a dog give them a business card and tell them to give you a try!
