New Bands on the Hill

This band materialized in late 2006, whom they first call themselves Joe Lean and The Tantrums. Finally, they decided to change their name to Joe Lean and Jing Jang Jong on their first major performance and the announcement of their very first album. Before 2007 ends, the band was at Top 7 on the BBC’s Sound of 2008 poll. A remarkable award which they could not believe as well.

In early 2008, they supported The Cribs at NME Awards Tour and they had their best time showcasing their sound at the music festival. This was also the time when they announced that they will be having 25 gigs throughout April and May.

Dressing Like a Celebrity or Model

After a decade or so of sleeping, the legend of Indiana Jones is revived with the release of the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull this summer. For most who remember Indiana Jones it brought back memories of the adventurer who always manages to get on top of things. He isn’t a super hero or invincible, he’s a regular guy who takes spills and falls with resulting aches and pains to show for it which makes him one of the most influential movie characters of all time. No wonder the fedora, the hat he wears, suddenly swings into the spotlight once again not only for men but also for some of Hollywood’s hottest women. Throw in those tight pants and you can call it the 80’s once again as we salute one of pop cultures idol for adventure!

Summer is here and so is the pending release of the Incredible Hulk 2, where mild mannered scientist Bruce Banner is desperate to find a cure for his radiation sickness that turns him into the Hulk, the green super-human that is capable of incredible feats. The comic character turned action movie is, like most sci-fi films heavily reliant on CG rendering where most of the special effects and action takes place. It remains to be seen if the green superheroes rises to the occasion and continues to evade his archenemies General Thunderbolt Ross and a new enemy with equally great strength The Abomination.

Smallville Continues to Make Strides

Lex comes back to Smalville and at their mansion. He invited Dr. Helen Bryce for a second celebratory at the same time as trying to know if either their fathers make an attempt to take his life. For the meantime, Clark as well returns to Smallville and at the Kent ranch, but Morgan Edge discovers him and pressured to exterminate Jonathan and Martha to acquire what Clark took from Lionel Luthor’s vault, which happens to be a stolen vial of Clark Kent’s blood. In the midst of the financial position of the Kent household in terrible straights, the farm is put up for sale in public sale, other than there is a revelation in the end. What’s more, Lana struggles to say publicly her affection for Clark. Somehow, he discards her care out of fright that she may find out his top secret. Clark furthermore returns to Smallville High and to the Torch broadsheet under Chloe who carries on to explore and inspect Clark’s beginnings.
