Potty training a puppy is also potty training the owner (at the same time)
Video info : Potty training a puppy is really just making a daily potty schedule for your pup. To train your pup, you must also train yourself. We have to be as commited.
~1st watch your puppy's "bathroom habits" for 1 day (how often they go etc), writing them down will make it easier to remember.
Then make the schedule according to their potty habits and abilities ( please consider age, size of crate, etc. For every pups are different )
~ Then create a potty schedule for them that YOU and your pup can follow.
~ Ask them to go, praise and treat, then let pup out (for more details :www.tinytailsnkisses.com )
Do it over and over and over again, try to stay within the time frame/ schedule that was made.
The key is consistency. The same time, same area, use the same words, treats and a lot of patience.
Don't get frustrated if they don't get it right away.
Praises and Treats are very important. But you must not be discourage Unsure feeling and doubts are negative energies, and they don't do your pup any good (especially when you are trying to teach them a new skill).
