How Misleading Are These Anti Wrinkle Cream Reviews?

You have undoubtedly noticed mind-boggling competition within the skincare market. When you ran a search on anti wrinkle cream reviews and thousands and thousands of websites popped up offering their advice, you probably noticed that most of these are mere marketing websites pushing their products. And while I don’t claim to be completely objective when I compare anti aging wrinkle cream, I thought a little practical common sense might help you find the truly good products.

Cheap is Cheap

Companies try to maximize their profits by looking for the cheapest ingredients and selling their product at insane prices. Sometimes these products advertise to “contain” expensive ingredients, but their concentration is so skimpy that it proves to be ineffective. So scrutinize these companies and see if they talk about the concentration of these active ingredients.

So what is a good concentration when you compare anti aging wrinkle cream? If a product has only a 1% active ingredient mix, how can that possibly work and what exactly am I paying for? I don’t know about you, but 50% sounds like a reasonable number to me. I would like to see these products have at least half of its ingredients being active in reducing wrinkles.

Natural versus Synthetic

Some of the cheapest ingredients these companies use are chemicals, synthetics and alcohol. As a whole, these ingredients are simply unhealthy for you. This should not be too surprising, as these skin care companies are more interested in quick results and not necessarily the health of your skin or body. Ironically, these products are only covering up wrinkles and lines and not really helping your skin to improve. They can also cause your skin to age faster - not exactly a good skin care product.

Companies that are able to use all-natural products with ingredients that are organically based have a tougher task. They are able to manufacture safe and healthy products, but not necessarily effective in helping to reduce wrinkles. Just because a product advertises itself as natural does not mean that it will work. There is a science to extract the substances from natural products that will work in the anit-aging process. Look for companies that not only emphasize natural ingredients, but also the science behind why they work.

A Friend In Need…

All companies are looking to make money. However, only a few companies genuinely have their customers health as their top priority. Look for companies that have signed “The Compact for Safe Cosmetics” which can be found at http://www.safecosmetics.org. These companies have made a pledge not to use ingredients which are known to be hazardous. If your company is not listed, my advice is to avoid them like the plague.

If a company spends more money on marketing than it does on product research, this is a sign that a company is only looking for the almighty dollar. Expensive ads, celebrity endorsements and slick packaging only make me question whether or not this product is all hype. To be fair, every company has to do some type of marketing or they will not be successful. But be a wise shopper to be able to see through all the glitz.

With many anti-wrinkle cream reviews out there to confuse us, a little common sense will help you weed out the over-hyped, ineffective and harmful products. To further compare anti aging wrinkle cream give my site a quick visit.
